As part of our commitment to Home-Start, the UK’s leading charity of expert, volunteer-based family support, we gave one of their local Home-Starts a helping hand. We transformed part of the headquarters of Home-Start HOST, which covers Oldham, Stockport and Tameside, at Ryecroft Hall to make it cosier and more comfortable for volunteers and members of the local community alike.
Ryecroft Hall is a vital space for the community, but was in need of refurbishment to improve it for the families, staff and volunteers that use Home-Start HOST’s services, so we stepped in. We sent 12 Sofologists and £8000 of donated furnishings, spending two days renovating the space to make it a more inviting place for the Home-Start team to use.
