Every year, April is the month where we take a step back and celebrate our favourite four legged friends – but not all pets manage to find their forever home the first time around. At Sofology, we supported Blue Cross, an animal charity dedicated to the welfare of unwanted and abandoned pets across the UK – so this year we gave them a visit to find out about the vital work they do in safeguarding animals who are looking for a loving home.
Our commitment
Between 2021 and 2022, we committed to donating £5 to Blue Cross from every order that included an item from our Pet Friendly fabric sofa range, which includes our Finchley and Islington sofas. When Blue Cross visited our Cheltenham store last year with some of the dogs in their care, our Pet Friendly sofas were a big hit as the fabric is easy to clean and more resistant to pet claws and snagging without compromising on style.
The Hertfordshire centre
This year we visited Blue Cross’ newly refurbished Hertfordshire centre, where we donated sofas to furnish their meet and greet rooms, to hear about all the important work they do and how donations go a long way to helping them achieve their goal of finding loving homes for the animals in their care.
